Wing Back Armchair Regency Style Yellow Pinstriped Country House Lounge Chair
An exceedingly charming and very impressive pinstripe yellow Regency style wingback armchair in wonderful condition. Likely British-made towards the end of the 20th Century, this beautifully decorative and very comfortable armchair will add sophisticated Country House styling, colour and charisma to any interior.
Impressively sized, this gorgeous armchair features a broad wingback with imposing padded arms and is finished in distinguished pinstripe pale yellow and taupe upholstery.
Extremely comfortable to relax in, the seat cushion is semi-soft and it comes with two separate cushions and two extra cushion cases, which could be used as arm covers.
Beautifully crafted, it has lovely pleating, is finished with golden woven trim piping and is set on arching rear legs and impressive turned forelegs set on brass castors.
All in all this is a strikingly attractive, very impressive and wonderfully comfortable armchair, which won’t fail to impress in any setting.
CONDITION
This is in excellent vintage condition. Beautifully made, it has been lovingly looked after and used only ‘for best’ and so retains its virtually ‘as new’ appearance. Overall it’s a fabulous Regency style armchair and if well looked after it should be just as gorgeous for many years to come – please see the photos.
