Segmented Wooden Vase Richard Haining Style Stacked Vase Sculptural Organic MCM
A show-stopping, rare and extremely impressive segmented wooden vase in really wonderful condition. Likely crafted in the late 20th Century in the manner of Richard Haining, this wonderful vase will add gorgeous colouring, first-rate craftsmanship and a beautifully organic, sculptural and timeless aesthetic to any interior.
Made from gorgeously hued teak wood ranging from golden to rich nutty brown, this has been expertly crafted using individual segments of wood which are then turned and sculpted into this smooth, sleek and eye-catchingly beautiful form.
Impressively sized, it makes a show-stopping stand-alone piece and would also look amazing displaying long grasses or dried flowers. There's a signature on the underside which we haven't been able to place but whoever painstakingly crafted this was clearly an artist and woodworking master-craftsman, so grab this gem while you can.
CONDITION
This is in excellent condition. Structurally sound and virtually as-new, the only signs of its age are a few practically imperceptible tiny marks but overall it's a stunning and extremely rare sculptural wooden vase in really wonderful condition and if well looked after it should remain so, to be admired for decades to come - please see the photos.
