Chinese Fish Bowl Jardiniere and Pedestal Stand Ceramic Art Deco Style 1970s MCM

A delightful, rare and colourful Chinese fish-bowl jardiniere and pedestal stand in lovely condition. Made in China, likely for the export market in the 1970s, it features a wealth of vibrant decorations in the Art Deco style. 
 
Particularly rare for being an in-tact matching pair, this charming fish-bowl jardiniere and pedestal have a myriad of dazzling decorations to please the eye. 
 
The vibrant colours depict scenes of peacocks and other birds of paradise amongst flowers and foliage set within Art Deco style harlequin borders. The beautifully patterned wide-rimmed jardiniere fish-bowl is decorated internally with a quartet of goldfish and seaweed. 
 
All in all this is a fascinating, rare and vibrant jardiniere and pedestal, which won‘t fail to catch the eye and will add Eastern decorative charm to any setting.
 
CONDITION
This is in very good vintage condition. It shows no cracks or chips and only has very minor wear to the decorative finish. Overall it's in really lovely vintage condition and if well looked after it should remain as wonderfully decorative for generations to come – please see the photos.
