Bohemian Glass Dining Table and 4 Armchairs Vintage Artisan Dining Set MCM 1970s

An eye-catchingly distinctive and very attractive artisan glass-top dining table and four armchairs in good vintage condition. Likely made in the 1970s, this dining set exudes artistic flair and will add a stylish and sunny, playfully Bohemian aesthetic to any seating area. 
 
A versatile dining set which may particularly suit a conservatory or orangery setting, it features four armchairs and the table can seat six easily and eight at a squeeze. The frames are crafted from substantial bowed bamboo and wonderfully curved, yellow and black crackle-painted wrought iron, while the table features a heavy, bevelled smoked glass top and the comfortable armchairs have woven rattan seats and backs.  
 
This charming dining set displays beautifully curving lines that can be appreciated from any angle, from the shapely bamboo to the intricately forged and patterned wrought ironwork.
 
All in all this is a very attractive and distinctive dining set, which will add lovely colouring and a super Bohemian flair to any setting. 
 
CONDITION
This dining set is in fair-to-good condition. Expertly artisan-crafted, the substantial, bevelled glass top has only minor to-be-expected scratches and there are to-be-expected marks and knocks to the bamboo, with more extensive, probably pet-related, wear to the lower areas of one chair leg and one table leg, while one of the seats has some give in it due to a loose under-strap and a few broken rattan weaves, which have been taken into account in the pricing. For the longevity of the chairs, cushions are always recommended for rattan woven seats. Overall it's a strikingly attractive and distinctive dining set in fair-to-good condition and if well looked after it should be just as eye-catching for generations to come – please see the photos.
