Black Italian Leather Lounge Chair Footstool Swivel Tilt Chrome Retro Space Age
An excellent quality black Italian leather and chrome swivel and tilt lounge chair and footstool in wonderful vintage condition. Likely made in the 1990s, this super-smart and very comfortable pair will add an effortlessly chic and timelessly stylish aesthetic to any interior.
Impressively sized and reassuringly heavy, this gorgeous reclining lounge chair and footstool feature a wonderfully streamlined aeronautic design and are set on eye-catching Space Age style inverted tulip chrome bases.
Featuring a gently curving and generously sized seat and broad back, the superb quality black leather is stitched into smart, eye-catching curved sections to the back of the chair, and both the chair and footstool have thick leather edged piping. The swivel and tilt ergonomics of the chair make it ideal for relaxing in.
All in all this is a wonderful vintage lounge chair and footstool. Extremely comfortable, they will also add superb quality and a timelessly sophisticated look to any setting.
CONDITION
This is in very good vintage condition. Impressively sized, reassuringly heavy and structurally sound, the leather has only the most minor marks to show its age and the chrome bases have only a couple of minor marks. The leather has been treated to keep it rejuvenated and the chrome cleaned to look its sparkling best. Overall this is a stunning pair in wonderful condition and if well looked after it should remain so for generations to come – please see the photos.
