Antique Barrel Table Slender Rustic Oak Plant Stand Pirates Nautical Mancave

A very rare and fabulously decorative antique oak barrel in good condition. Likely made in the 19th Century if not earlier, this stunning antique piece is dripping with age and history, makes an ideal sofa / end table or plant stand and would enhance any interior with its striking rustic appeal and wonderful bygone decorative charm.  
 
Made of solid oak, this historic elongated cask or keg has the original wrought iron hooped securing braces and was almost certainly originally used to transport rum at sea. Its super rare to find such a slender and elongated barrel and it will make the ideal space-saving decorative side table.
 
All in all this is a fabulously decorative rare object which will enhance any setting with its historic rustic charm. 
 
CONDITION
This is in good condition. Structurally sound, it shows only the most minor to-be-expected signs of its age included some historic wormholes for which the whole barrel has been treated for good measure. Overall it’s a stunning rare piece in good condition and if well looked after it should retain its wow-factor for centuries to come – please see the photos.
