1970s Footstool Ottoman Mid Century Jan Des Bouvrie Swivel Steel Velvet Green

A beautiful Mid Century designer footstool in wonderful condition. Made in the 1970s and attributed to renowned Dutch designer Jan Des Bouvrie, this stunning footstool will add gorgeous colouring and a fabulous retro aesthetic to and interior. 
 
It features a beautiful and very impressive steel swivel base with tri-petal feet and sumptuous padded seat of rich green buttoned velvet finished with brass studding. 
 
All in all it’s a stunning designer footstool, which will enhance any setting with its striking colouring and knockout quintessential 1970s look.
 
CONDITION
This is excellent condition. The swivel mechanism works perfectly and there are only the most minor signs of wear to show its age. Overall it’s a fabulous footstool and if well looked after it should be just as gorgeous in another 50+ years – please see the photos.
