A strikingly attractive, super-stylish and excellent quality black Italian leather and chrome swivel & tilt lounge chair and footstool in wonderful vintage condition. Featuring a dashing Minimalist 1970s Italian design, this extremely comfortable Modernist duo were likely made in the 1990s and will add luxuriant quality and an effortlessly sophisticated, timelessly cool aesthetic to any interior.
Impressively sized and reassuringly heavy, this gorgeous and super-smart pair feature a wonderfully streamlined, almost-aeronautic design and are set on eye-catching Space Age style inverted tulip chrome bases.
Featuring a gently curving and generously sized seat and broad back, the superb quality black leather is stitched into smart, curved sections to the back of the chair, and both the chair and footstool have wide leather edged piping.
The gently enveloping curves and elegantly asymmetrical A-Frame design make this a knockout pairing which captures all the classiness of the 1970s Italian Riviera, while the sumptuously plush padded leather upholstery and swivel & tilt ergonomics add superb comfort, making this the ideal pair to both admire and relax in.

CONDITION
This pair is in very good vintage condition. Impressively sized, reassuringly heavy and structurally sound, the leather has only the most minor marks to show its age and the chrome bases have only a couple of minor marks. The swivel and tilt mechanisms of the chair work as they should, the leather has been treated to keep it rejuvenated and the chrome cleaned to look its sparkling best. Overall this is a stunning pair in wonderful condition and if well looked after should remain so for generations to come – please see the photos.
